International Reference Projects (Delivered by Partner Organisations)
International Reference Projects (Delivered by Partner Organisations)
The following examples illustrate the global deployment track record of our manufacturing partners.
1)Multi-MWh commercial energy-storage deployments
2)Large-scale AC/DC charging projects
3)Solar + storage + charging system integration
4)EMS-enabled energy optimisation in real-world settings
These international experiences form the technical foundation for our UK solutions.
Guangdong Mingkang Industrial Carport Solar Power Project
This 2.3 MW solar carport project in Foshan, China was delivered by Changyuan Energy (CYG) as part of its domestic portfolio.
Key outcomes:
Clean Energy Generation: 2.6 million kWh/year
Environmental Benefits:
CO₂ reduction: 2,592 tonnes/year
Standard coal savings: 827 tonnes/year
Dust reduction: 707 tonnes/year
SO₂ and NOₓ reduction: 78 and 39 tonnes/year respectively
UK Application Potential
Large-scale parking lots at UK universities and business parks can be transformed into clean energy hubs using similar carport PV systems—providing on-site solar generation while making use of existing infrastructure. Highland Grid supports the adaptation of similar technical models for UK-compliant deployment through accredited UK delivery partners.
Distributed Solar PV Projects
Changyuan Energy has deployed multiple distributed solar PV projects across industrial rooftops in China.
Kunshan Project (1.6MW)
1.6 million kWh/year
CO₂ reduction: 1,600 tonnes/year
Water savings: 6,400 tonnes/year
Meibao & Jianao Projects (1.1MW combined)
~1.1 million kWh/year
CO₂ reduction: ~1,000 tonnes/year
Stard Valve Project (900kW)
Installed in 60 days
Provides power for industrial operations in Suzhou
UK Application Potential
These distributed rooftop PV systems offer a fast and efficient solution for clean power generation. With support from local UK installation partners, Highland Grid coordinates feasibility, compliance and local delivery partnerships to adapt similar systems for UK educational, industrial and commercial sites.
These cases demonstrate the proven deployment capability of our manufacturing partners and form the technical reference base for Highland Grid’s UK integration and delivery-governance model.
Working alongside experienced international OEM partners and accredited UK delivery contractors, Highland Grid supports the structured adaptation of these solutions to meet UK regulatory, grid and compliance requirements.
Our role is to enable institutions and commercial operators to reduce emissions, enhance energy resilience and optimise on-site energy use through carefully structured PV, energy management and EV charging deployments.
